Warehouse Professional for our Rotterdam Warehouse

Are you open for an opportunity with a fast-paced, international company and experienced in driving warehouse tasks, we have an opportunity for you to join our team.

We are looking for a full-time Warehouse professional to manage the start-up process and the running of our new warehouse in Rotterdam. You will be reporting directly to our COO and you will be responsible for the Rotterdam warehouse team, consisting of you and 1-2 additional warehouse staff.

Your immediate task will be to set up a warehouse aligned to manage our logistics processes, and you will be able to influence how the warehouse should be setup in order to ensure optimal flow and productivity. After the startup period you will have a varied range of responsibilities such as day to day management of the local warehouse team, including team management and manning schedules.

Day to day tasks include:

  • reception and registration of goods
  • packing / re-packing of received goods
  • pick&pack orders
  • making ready for shipping
  • occasional delivery to vessel agent in Rotterdam
  • periodical stock taking
  • general order, structure and cleanliness of the warehouse

We are looking for a person with a proven track record with warehouse operation, who is able to communicate in English (written/spoken) and also to some level in Dutch, in order to be able to communicate with local couriers or hauliers. We expect you to have solid IT skills, mostly Office, and to understand the importance of correct data handling and general quality in all processes. We expect you to be a loyal and professional team player, with a positive mindset in every approach to your work.

You must hold a forklift certificate.

Work hours will be between 8-18, depending on courier pickup schedule.
