Berg & Larsen enters a new chapter
Berg & Larsen has entered a new chapter in its more than 230-year history as maritime professional and investor Jesper Weller acquires the company from Søren Kristiansen.
Jesper Weller brings extensive maritime experience as a qualified Marine Engineer and former seafarer, combined with a strong personal connection to Berg & Larsen and its long-standing role in the Danish maritime industry.
The change of ownership marks a continuation of Berg & Larsen’s strong heritage while creating new opportunities for future growth. The company will continue its international development, broaden its customer base and further develop its product portfolio to meet the evolving needs of the global shipping industry.
Søren Kristiansen will remain onboard as CEO, ensuring continuity for customers, employees and business partners.
